The two-handed brass carabiner closure is secure and made even more so by a secondary hidden magnet support underneath the flap. There is a boxy pocket on the front of the bag body which can fit power banks, phones, etc., and it has a flat twin pocket in the interior which is great for metro cards, bus passes, etc. The bag body is 12cm wide, which can fit most entry-level to mid-level DSLRs or mirrorless cameras. The thick saddle-grade leather acts as extra protection for your things. The Deedy strap was developed specially by Quiddity to be lighter and more comfortable on the shoulder, and still very sturdy, with beautiful hand-stitched details. It is detachable and can be adjusted to go from shoulder length to crossbody length. If you prefer a plain strap, this option is also available.
It is made with Italian vegetable tanned cowhide leather from Tuscany, Italy. Unlike most commercial leathers, original vegetable tanned leather from Italy uses no chemicals or heavy metals in the production process, thus ensuring that the leather has been ethically made and is sustainable.
The bag also comes with a serialized certificate from the Consorzio Vera Pelle which guarantees the leather’s origins and quality. Quiddity bags also feature the signature alternating stitch as a hallmark of its being 100% sewn by hand. This stitch cannot be replicated by sewing machines and it also helps make the bag sturdier and protects the seam from coming apart.
