Can You Make a Custom Design?
Quiddity has a signature style as well as meticulously developed details which we have tried and tested to ensure the best bag functionality without detracting from the beauty of the leather.
If you have a generic bag style or item in mind (i.e. card case, messenger bag, bucket bag, wallet, etc.), we will be able to design something in Quiddity’s style that would meet your requirements, and provide a corresponding price quotation. We also accept some customizations by way of the thread color combinations, slight changes in the sizes of existing styles, bag handle options, etc.
Quiddity, however, will not accept customization requests asking to reproduce copyrighted or trademarked designs (i.e. “Birkin”, “Kelly”, “PS1”, etc.) of other bag brands or individuals which would qualify as counterfeit or copyright infringement.
How Long Will It Take To Produce My Bag?
If you are ordering one of our existing styles, one bag takes a minimum of 10-15 working days to produce, excluding the day of order confirmation and the day of shipping. Larger orders would take longer to produce. Custom orders will also take longer to produce, excluding consultation time required beforehand. A more specific time frame will be provided depending on the customer’s requirements, and upon order confirmation.
Rush orders may be accepted on a limited basis (at least 5 working days’ notice), with a surcharge of 20% of the bag price. For example: if the regular price of the bag is $300, a rush order of that bag will make the bag price $360.
Extreme rush orders may also be accepted on a limited basis (3-4 days’ notice), with a surcharge of 50% of the bag price. For example: if the regular price of the bag is $300, an extreme rush order of that bag will make the bag price $450.
The surcharge is applied only on the bag price and not on the shipping cost. Any additional fees incurred because of rushing an order’s shipment (if with LBC, 2Go, DHL, FedEx, etc.) will be shouldered by the customer.
Where Can I Go to Look at Quiddity Bags & Accessories In Person?
Quiddity is currently an online-only shop, but we are working with potential stockists to make our products more easily accessible to our customers. Once our products have been placed in stores, the announcement will be posted on our site and social media accounts.
On a limited basis, we may also agree to do meet-ups with potential clients (as well as potential stockists, buyers, press, etc.) who wish to see and/or try out our bags and accessories. This is by appointment only and should you be interested to set a meet-up, please contact us.
Do You Also Make Men’s Bags?
Yes! All of our styles are intended to be gender fluid and may be used by anyone, depending on people’s individual preferences. We are also developing several other designs but because we are a small atelier workshop, please bear with us and stay tuned as we roll out new styles in the coming months. If you are in need or desire a certain style which we have not yet launched, simply contact us to inquire about pricing and timing.
What Shipping Methods Are Available?
Items may be picked up via appointment at The Enterprise Center or Tower One Ayala Triangle (both in Makati City, Metro Manila). Shipping via LBC, DHL, 2Go, etc. for all other domestic orders. International shipping is available on a limited basis depending on the customer’s country’s restrictions on the shipment of leather goods.
Do You Ship Internationally?
Due to regulatory restrictions from Manila, international shipping is dependent on the country to which the item/s will be shipped. Please contact us via our contact form or via email if you are interested in finding out if we can ship to your country. Our products may also become available in certain cities where we have stockists or events, and announcements for such will be posted on our site accordingly.
What Payment Methods Are Accepted?
We accept payment via PayPal, credit card (also via PayPal), or bank transfer (BPI). For security purposes we will not be accepting COD.
Do I Pay The Whole Amount At Once?
We require at least 50% downpayment (the customer may choose to pay 100%) upon order confirmation, with the balance payable upon delivery confirmation.
ORDERS AND RETURNS
How Do I Place An Order?
If you are selecting one of our existing styles, you can order it via the shop page, and indicate in the remarks portion of the checkout page which custom thread colors you have chosen, and other comments, etc.
How Can I Cancel Or Change My Order?
Since each piece is made to order, once an order has been placed, it will be very difficult to cancel or change. If production by our artisans has already begun, the order can no longer be cancelled, and whether or not the customer decides to get the item, the full amount will be charged with no refund. If production has already begun, minor changes may still be made where possible and with corresponding costs.
Do I Need An Account to Place An Order?
You may proceed to checkout as a guest, but registering an account means things will be a bit faster during your next checkout (since all the pertinent personal information would already be registered).
How Do I Track My Order?
Tracking services would depend on the shipping company, and will be provided if available. The QuiddiTeam will notify the customer via SMS and/or e-mail regularly with the status of the item, such as completion date, if the item has already been sent, etc.
How Can I Return a Product?
Since every item is made to order, there are no returns allowed. If the reason for returning the product is due to failure of a part of the item, Quiddity will repair or replace the item as indicated in the limited warranty provided with the product.
